The Season of New Leaves (若葉の季節 Wakaba no Kisetsu) is the first episode of the Shin Sekai Yori anime series. It first aired in Japan, on September 29, 2012.
Short Summary[]
- In the year of 2011, people with psychokinetic powers start appearing, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake. 1000 years later, Saki Watanabe finally has her own powers awakened, and after a ritual of passage, she rejoins her friends at school who had awakened before her. However, one of them is revealed to have weaker control over her powers than her peers, and soon after she mysteriously disappears.
